Who is My Dance Dreams?
My Dance Dreams is the dance-focused travel division of Gerber Tours. We create custom performance, training, and cultural travel programs designed specifically for dance studios, school dance programs, and performance groups.
Who can travel with My Dance Dreams?
We work with dance studios, school dance teams, performing arts programs, and youth dance organizations of all styles and levels, from recreational studios to competitive and pre-professional programs.
Do dancers get to perform on trips?
Yes. Many My Dance Dreams programs include performance opportunities such as festivals, showcases, theme park stages, or community events. Performance elements are optional and can be customized to match your studio’s goals.
Do you offer dance workshops and master classes?
Yes. We arrange professional workshops and master classes with working dancers, choreographers, and instructors in each destination whenever available.
How far in advance should studios plan?
Most studios plan 8 to 12 months in advance, especially for peak seasons and popular destinations. We can also assist with shorter timelines depending on availability.
Do you offer fundraising support?
Yes. We can provide guidance, tools, and ideas to help studios raise funds and make travel more accessible for dancers and families.
Is travel insurance available?
Yes. We strongly recommend travel protection and can help arrange coverage for your group.
Are trips customizable?
Absolutely. Every My Dance Dreams trip is custom-built around your studio’s vision, travel dates, budget, and experience goals. No two programs are the same.
Is My Dance Dreams currently hosting dance competitions?
At this time, My Dance Dreams has suspended its dance competitions while we focus on delivering exceptional travel and performance experiences. Prior to the pandemic, My Dance Dreams hosted dance competitions in cities such as New York and other major destinations as part of our travel programs. We look forward to bringing competitions back in the future when the timing and resources allow.
What is included in a My Dance Dreams trip?
Most programs include hotel accommodations, transportation, select meals, performance or workshop experiences, sightseeing, and full trip planning and support. All inclusions are clearly outlined in your custom proposal.
