Chicago Dance Tour

More than just skyscrapers and museums, Chicago delivers some of the highest caliber dance troupes in the US.   From modern dance at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago to ballet at Joffrey Ballet, students have the opportunity to see and work with these acclaimed studios and their esteemed choreographers and dancers.  High Caliber Dance Intensives are just the tip of the iceberg, Chicago offers incredible performance opportunities for your dancers giving them a taste of what it’s like to perform in a bustling city.  Come explore Chicago’s Downtown Theatre District and see some of the most exciting shows and explore behind the scenes of Chicago’s historic theatres.

 

 

First Day
  • 5:00 am Departure from Dancers Pointe (EASTERN TIME).
  • 11:00 am Arrival in Chicago.
    Time for lunch at your expense.
    Guided tour of Chicago.
  • 1:30 pm Tour of Joffrey Ballet Studio (confirmed).
  • 4:00 pm Participate in a workshop.
  • 6:00 pm Dinner.
  • 8:00 pm Attend a theatre performance.
  • 11:00 pm Check into your hotel.
Second Day
  • 7:30 am Enjoy a hot breakfast at your hotel.
  • 9:00 am Visit the Shedd Aquarium.
    Time for lunch at your expense.
  • 12:00 pm Visit the Field Museum of Natural History.
  • 12:30 pm Performance at the Field Museum.
  • 3:00 pm Participate in a workshop.
  • 7:00 pm Dinner.
Third Day
  • 8:00 am Enjoy a hot breakfast at your hotel and checkout.
    Visit the Lincoln Park Zoo.
    Time for lunch at your expense.
    Shopping on the Magnificent Mile.
  • 3:00 pm Depart for home (CENTRAL TIME).
